FAQ
Do I need to know anything technical?
No. If you can describe your business in a few sentences and press "Publish", you can run your site with us. There's no software to install and no plugins to update.
How do I make changes after my site is live?
From your dashboard, type what you'd like changed in plain English, for example "add a testimonial from Sarah" or "update our hours." The change shows up in your preview shortly after. When you're happy, press Publish and everything you've changed goes live together.
What if I don't like a change?
Every change shows up in your preview first. If it's not right, roll your draft back to an earlier message or ask for something different. Your live site doesn't change until you press Publish.
Who checks my changes?
Before a change reaches your preview, we check the pages for broken links, missing images and markup problems, and fix what we find. If you're not sure what to ask for, or not happy with a result, email hello@kiteware.com and someone on our team will help.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes. Bring a domain you already own and we'll walk you through pointing it at your site, or pick a new one and we'll set it up. HTTPS is included automatically.
What about hosting, security and uptime?
All included. Your site is hosted on Cloudflare's global network with automatic HTTPS and DDoS protection. There's nothing for you to maintain.
